California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 Disclosure
Apro, LLC d/b/a United Oil, United Pacific and My Goods Market, together with its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “United”) provides this disclosure pursuant to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, California Civil Code Section 1714.43 (the “Act”). The Act requires that all retailers and manufacturers doing business in California with annual worldwide gross receipts that exceed one hundred million dollars ($100,000,000) disclose its efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from its direct supply chain.
United endeavors to carefully observe all applicable federal, state and local laws which apply to its business, including laws applicable to human trafficking, child labor and slavery.
United is built upon the principles of fair dealing and ethical conduct of its employees. United’s reputation is one of integrity and excellence, as well as a scrupulous regard for the highest standards of conduct. United maintains an ethical conduct policy, requiring all employees to conduct business in accordance with the letter, spirit, and intent of all relevant laws, and refraining from all illegal, dishonest, or unethical behavior. Employees of United face disciplinary action up to and including termination for violations of this policy.
United purchases all of its products from domestic sources, whether directly or through distributors. Consistent with its commitment to the highest standards of conduct, United maintains relationships with only those suppliers and service providers regarded as reputable within its industry. Where United maintains definitive supply contracts, it negotiates for the right to terminate relationships in the event suppliers are found to be in violation of any law or United’s ethical standards.
United does not believe there to be a significant risk of human trafficking or slavery in its direct supply chain. However, consistent with United’s high standards for ethics and integrity, United encourages all persons who suspect violations of the Act to report such activity to United at: email@example.com. In addition, United will not tolerate any form of retaliation against any employee who raises questions, concerns or complaints concerning any such activities.
